ACCOMA

The external Access Control Manager for Web Applications. It lives on top of existing implementations of Access Control Systems (Hardware & Software) and works as a broker between Access Control Systems and Web Applications.

How it works

ACCOMA integrates on already installed Access Control Systems by transforming their businness logic to ACCOMA's. Then it provides the ability for web applications to integrate with accoma as their access control system with all the latest capabilities of web applications. Accoma adds an abstraction layer on how many applications can use each access control system and on applications's user permissions to control access control data.

Entities

Integrations

External services providing hardware, cards and automations to the system (auto transactions). Without an integration, ACCOMA can operate with manual operations.

Applications & Groups

Applications are the User Experience side of ACCOMA. External web services can authenticate and integrate with accoma's data, giving the ability to create custom UIs in existing platforms.

Application Webhooks

Applications can fetch data on demand but they can also listen to webhooks, to get updated of all transaction hits in realtime.

Access Points

Basically doors on which people can enter or exit by creating transactions.

Authorizations

They are dynamic grouping of access points and attachable on Persons as "Permissions".

Persons

The customers of the system. Accoma holds basic details about the person holding the NFC cards (credentials).

Credentials

Commonly NFC Cards or something that can provide the ability to open specific doors and attachable on Persons.

Transactions

All hits on access points by NFC cards or manualones, submited from an authenticated dashboard.

Zones

The ability to define spaces within your campus and control people when entering/eciting a specific area.

Other features

Adding zone rules on access points

By adding zone rules of entrance or exit event on access points you can track how many and which persons are currently inside specific areas (zones). This enable the functionality of Who's In.

Application subscriptions on zones

Applications can subscribe to zones, or have a default one. This will make ACCOMA communicate in realtime with your service for transactions that happen in a zone, besides it's persons transactions.
